Scrap Africa Colour Palette Challenge #61: Cutie in a Hoodie

I LOVED this challenge at Scrap Africa! The colours are perfect for me and I think they worked perfectly with this layout. I could have gone grungy or girly with this photo but I like the look.

Scrap Africa Sketch #60: Totally in Love with Chocolate

It's a new month and a new sketch challenge at Scrap Africa! And it is such a fun sketch to play with.

I challenged myself to use my own handwriting on this layout. Is it just me, or does everybody else hate their own handwriting?
I design a layout and love it... until that moment that I add the hand written title or journaling. It spoils the entire layout for me.
I guess practice makes perfect, right?

Scrap Africa Sketch #58: Sun Surf and Sand

These photos were taken in Gansbaai during the September school holidays last year. I love the way the sun reflects in these pics and illuminates my already gorgeous subject.

Scrap Africa Sketch #56: Top of the World

Late! Late! Always late! We have such an amazing sketch at Scrap Africa and I am late with my blogging.

We had a family hike a few weeks ago up Lion's Head. It was such a perfect, warm winter's day with clear skies and perfect views. We definitely live in one of the most beautiful places on earth. I used a family selfie of that day for my layout.

Wow! What a challenge this mood board has been for me. I decided to use the wood as inspiration. Once I pulled out my Nest papers by Webster's Pages I was good to go.

Scrap Africa Challenge #53: Wiele

We have a spectacular mood board challenge at Scrap Africa: Planes, Trains & Automobiles. It's perfect for any vehicle OR travel photos.

I used a photograph of Karla from almost 7 years ago, sitting in the car her Grandpa made for her.

My background is a mix of glass bead glitter gel, stencilling, webbing spray and mists. The chippies are from Enmarc.
