I've had this song by Bruno Mars in my head for the last few weeks. Actually, I've had most of the songs from Pitch Perfect in my head for a while now. I can't get over that movie.

So one day while this song was playing over and over in my head I decided to do something with the lyrics. I printed the first few lines on a photo...



started playing around with some background texture and colours, added some washi tape, the photo and some flowers and ended up with this canvas.



I used a fabric paint liner for the title. I love how the paint puffed out when I heated it with my heat tool.

I created this canvas as a VERY late birthday present for my sister-in-love. Her birthday was in September (oops!) and I planned on making her something like this but didn't have a suitable photo (excuses excuses). Anyway, I recently begged one of her own horse photos off her (without telling her what it was for) and this was the end result:

I created this layout using the Little Miss range by Bo Bunny. The teacups and little girls with umbrellas are perfect for our tea party photos and I will definitely be using them in more future projects using these gorgeous photos.



I followed the tutorial by Trina McClune on the Paperhaus blog where she created this gorgeous layout.



I loved the simple, yet elegant background, using the border punched paper and fussy cut flowers.

However, instead of the fussy cut flowers on the sides I used teacups and a teapot. And instead of double framing my photograph I “framed” it with washi taped and matted it onto a chicken wire chippie.

I interpreted the Scripture as “Wear Love” and created a mixed media canvas.
