In the beginning of the year a message was posted on facebook. If you commented on the post the person who posted it had to send you a hand made gift (anything hand made, even a song, poem, written letter or mix tape) during the course of the year. You then had to post the same message to your timeline and send gifts to the first 5 friends who commented.

I ended up with 3 friends who commented and decided to make these super cute mini albums using Silhouette shapes that I discovered in a tutorial found here.

Yet another inspiring mood board at Scrap Around the World this month. I couldn't wait to play along.



I used watercolour paint to create the paint drips, then hand cut the banner pieces from co-ordinating coloured patterned paper, added some twine, flowers, rhinestones and washi tape. The pretty rose paper clip is from Typo.

Imagine my excitement when I found a Christian scrapbooking challenge site. I fell in love immediately!

I wanted to scrap a family photo because my family is definitely what I am most thankful for. In the search for a family photo I dug up this photo of DH and I taken last year and decided to focus on our marriage for this layout.
